I don't like the semi-circular gap from the emblem in there. That's why I wanted the grill surround. Maybe I can resell my stock one to someone who broke theirs and recoup some of the investment. It's not visible unless you look from down front, but I figured why not?

I Plasti dipped mine and it worked great. It's been on for over two years now (including salty midwest winters) without any issues at all. I wanted the flat color so it seemed like a cheap way to try it out.

Update on my upper gill as well. As I mentioned earlier, when I placed the order I was told there was a national back order. Didn't hear anything for a couple weeks and contacted the dealer only for them to tell me it was here after two days and they are waiting for me to pick it up.
Anyway, I did and the grill looks pretty good. There are a couple small spots near the top of the grill that you can see a little bit of the texture change but if I hadn't heard/seen it here I would not have even noticed.

Yep, just got this from parts@bamwholesaleparts:
