After going back a few pages of this thread, I realized why you were asking. I didn’t even open it up until just now, but mine is perfect. No blemish at all. Another member ordered from BAM after researching for the lowest price and sure enough he came to the same conclusion as mine. He also has a picture of it.

For those with limited's asking if these will fit. I confirmed today that they will not be a direct fitment. The center bar has totally different dimensions. That not the end of the line for limited's. I just need someone in the roseville/greater Sacramento area with a limited that's interested in one. I would need your 4runner for a few hours. See if we can come up with a trim guide to fit the limited. Mostly the lower grille section is the issue. Also the top to bottom of the center section is not as wide. So, there would be a invisible gap there. Hard to explain but would love to have someone lend me a limited to try and see.

Lower Bumper

I really want the lower bumper black to match the grill. Is Plasti dip really the best way to go without spending a fortune on paint? I know there are other posts on here, want a fresh perspective. Thanks.

If you can remove the Chrome pieces, pull them, wet sand with 350 or 400 and then rattle can them in thin coats. A few coats should do it and look better than Plasti Dip unless you like the mat appearance of Plasti Dip. I used Plasti Dip and glossifier on my rear Trail Valance and it looks okay, but the pro Black Version looks better

This is strange that you mention because I know several people with Limiteds have swapped out the TRD garnish and replaced the upper grill with no issues. Your model is based off the dimensions the original TRD garnish?

For anyone needing to order an upper grill just got this message from the supplier I tried to order from.

'We regret to inform you, Toyota has run out of stock of the item ordered and placed it on backorder. Currently, the ETA is mid-March. Due to this, we will have to cancel the standing order and refund you in full. We apologize for the inconvenience, the backorder appears to be due to a supplier issue."

Looks like toyota might have recognized the defects?

The top with a trd upper grille should be no issue at all. Just the lower grille I am concerned about. I'm going to cut a flawed cover from testing and go the the dealer and check it out tomorrow.

wouldn't the limited garnish need to be removed for the pro/ tso garnish to fit on the limited? Or will a pro/ tso fit over the limited garnish?

I think it is necessary to stay on. It is inlaid into the bumper. If you took it out the tape would have nothing to stick too.

I received my upper grille today from toyota of san Bernadino and it was blemish free. This was the lowest price I could find online when I ordered it last weekend. Hopefully this group buy isn't depleting the stock around the country :lmao:

I will second this, my order from San Bernardino Toyota parts was also blemish free and the cheapest for me since I live in CA. I got it in about 2 days

I will update on grill condition when I receive it, but if it's has a blemish I'll just do a Rustoleum finish on both grills.
