What light bar is that!?

Top bar I'm not sure. 27" curved eBay item. It took a LOT of mods to the upper grill and custom mounting.

Bottom is a Rigid Industries SR30 mounted on the Rago mounts.

I did tons of Photoshop and measuring, ordered, then cut, cut , file, cut, sand, cut, hardware store, cut and so on... I'm super happy with end result. Way more awesome in person.

The TSO grill was the final piece of the puzzle that was needed.

Installing the letters wasn’t too complicated. IMO the hardest part is positioning the letters vertically since the bend/corner of the top/bottom edges are so rounded it’s hard to determine where to measure from.

So my question JBAT, was it outta the ordinary difficult to install with it mounted already? For those whom wish to cave....

A few have already installed letters after installing the cover. Seems to be a non issue. I said to install while the cover is off, so you can apply ample support by behind the letters. So, the tape can wet out and best possible. As long as you make sure the letters fully contact the cover you should have no issues.

So I did the upper mesh grill install first and then placed the TSO cover on without pulling the tape and decided if I wanted to do letters or not. I don’t think it would be any more difficult on or off tbh. I will say this- install the TSO cover with the upper grill mesh off. I cut a slit in the middle of the upper tape as per the instructions and when I tried to pull them away (with the upper grill mesh installed) the tape kept ripping and I couldn’t get access to it since the upper mesh was obstructing.

i had this problem too. maybe i shouldve read the directions. im just glad it decided to rip near the end so it has like 95% contact from the rest of the tape :ybrick:

Agree. Getting the letters leveled and aligned took the longest but was not difficult

So I finally had time to install the TSO Pro Grille on my Limited 4Runner...

First of all, i want to thank Travis, 304tmt, for all the hard work that he has put into this product. :clap2:

My TSO Pro Grille had 3M tape pre-installed and since the TSO pro grille is about 1/4 inch thicker than the OEM center bar, i had to install add an extra layer of 3M tape for the lower section. I opted to install the extra 3M tape on the OEM center bar instead of the grille since it was easier.

Below is the fitment from the top. It should look similar to the other models (SR5/Trail) and the upper grille covers the gap.

4Runner needs a bath, but here is the finial product. I still need to wire up the raptor lights.

Wow! That just changed my view of the limited. They should all look that way.

Check and see if the bottom tape makes contact down there. Obviously before you peel the tape film. If it doesn't touch, I can mail you the tape as I offered to 16limited before. Or you can just go to you local auto parts store and they should have some 3m vhb you can use.

It was an extra piece of tape that i had on hand. If i were to do it again, i wouldn't worry too much about the lower center portion. The TSO grille curves out more than the OEM center bar and only touches towards the ends.

The thickness of the tape does not matter but the precision of the location of the tape is somewhat necessary. My TSO grille had a 3 strips of 3M tape preinstalled and the lower one did not touch the OEM center bar since it was too low. I would advise to just install the 3M tape to the chrome center bar unless you want to measure it out and install it on the TSO grille first.

For those wondering. I checked out a Toyota version on the showroom floor yesterday. Fit is not as good as TSO. Letters are way less precise as it relates to matching the curve if the Garnish. Great job 304!

As far as the limited goes the final product is better than Toyota’s. For fit, it fits where it touches. The shape of the limiteds cross member is seemingly a bit different. Should not affect performance and it looks perfect.
