TSX retro finally done!

here are pictures of the tsx output. driver side needs to be redo to fix the tilt, it is slightly tilt down on left side, kinda my fault to ruin the perfect job did by the retrofitter, anyway he's going to fix it for me whenever i have time to drop off the housing to him sometime this week.

compared to my H11 kit, tsx is more evenly spread on the light and a lot more wider than stock halogen projector. even tho the stock one has a sharp cut off after mod, but the sides start to fade out and getting dim while TSXs are continuously bright on the sides.

first of all a few comparison pictures with my H11 kit, some of the pictures are 4300k and some are 6000k. easily can tell the TSX are much wider and brighter.

feel free to comment on the pictures or this project. you cannot tell if this is a retrofit by just looking at the housing itself, except the stock has a black shroud while the TSX has a chrome shroud. other than that, they have very very similar lens diameter and tsx has pure clear lens versus stock is a little frosted.

yea! it does! well i still love the output on stock with h11 kit, it is very perfect and close to real HID already. only differences are the width and the intensity after i did the retro. it is wider and light are spread more evenly.

tilt issue has been fixed to day. the cutoff is flat sharp and straight! so happy with them. i have to give the credit to Josh @Inz_trbl.com he's such a very nice guy to deal with.

wow those are some nice lights. is it true though that they won't pass inspection? I heard that somewhere before on a honda forum. something about how it didn't come equipped from the factory with hid's so it's illegal or something? *shrugs*

well, literally, retro fit is illegal, HID kit is illegal too. any extra lighting alternation which is not meet factory spec can be consider illegal, but also depends on the state you are in.
as long as if we put HID kit/retrofit in our car and have a proper aim not blinding people, i guess it is ok. also if we put hid kit in, just making sure to eliminate the glare since it will blind people off. and if so, try to stay at 6000k or under, anything above is turning purple and will be eye catching to cops.

Your actual headlights. Did you retrofit them with projector lens? I am interested in doing the samething to my headlights but want real projectors. Many people have tried the cheap ones on ebay and many had horribles stories about them.

yes, mines are tsx retrofitted in, but will have s2k in there soon

lol, if we do, next time my setup will be diffrent, they r gonna be some WIDE s2k setup in there, wahahahahaha
