TSX retro soon!

hi all, a TSX retro is on the way very soon! just waiting one side headlight to be shipped from seller and going to pick up another headlight from dealership at cost. then will shoot to local retro expert to have it done, hopefully in 2 weeks or so it will be finished. pictures will be up once the retro is done. i am excited and hoping a very nice output on those TSXs.

i already baked my headlights and see that the tsx projector will fit in nicely, however i want to drop the ls430 projector in. i will keep you posted as well once i get some free time for this retrofit.
 
I did my own using an RX330 projector and I am very happy with the results. The TSX should be comparable. I believe the LS projector would be kind of big. Are you using 05 housings, or 06 housings? I used 06 housings and put them on my 05.
 
I am using the 06 housing.
Can you post some pics of your retrofit?
I guess you are the first to retrofit on 06 housing?
 
what do you want a picture of? from the outside, the housing looks no different than any other 06 housing. Everything is on the inside... the only way you can tell is looking at the bulb connector... or the light output/cut-off :D

yea, i want to see some pictures of the finishing too! of cuz some wall shot and night shot of the width of the beam!! thank you!
 
just dropped off headlight housing to retrofitter this morning, hope it will turn out good. he already mentioned to me that a whole new bracket needs to be fab to extend the TSX out a bit. keep you guys posted if any news.
 
handed in one headlight housing to retrofitter on the weekend (the other one is on the way from UPS). we decided to do 1 washer mod that will make the cut-off more sharp with slightly blue. good thing he is local, so i can go to check the status anytime i want. he is a very nice guy and has been done so many FX retro. so anyone local in Sacramento CA wants to do retro, let me know, i can introduce him to you. can't wait to see the finally output on my new TSXs.
 
updates with a few pictures from retrofitter:

stock halogen projector in place before removal, he used a level to make sure everything done right and cut off is flat no crook.

tsx projector is in place, the level is just making sure the cut off is not going to be off as the stock one. cuz i told him i am very anal about crook cut off and need the job done perfect.

TSX inside housing for testing fit and it should be how it looks after mounted on the car. looks very OEM, can't really tell the difference.

i should be getting those back tomorrow evening. i highly recommend him espeically if someone is trying to find a local or norcal retrofitter! i'll have more pictures to come in a day or two.

my retro finally done, all the job took the retrofitter one and half day only. it came out BRILLIANT. a lot better than my 4300k kit with shield mod. one side needs to rotate slightly bit due to my fault, i kinda screwed it up a little and tilted it slightly off level. but retrofitter will fix it free for me when i have time to drop it off. i try to take some pictures tonight or tomorrow. i was happy with my kit, it was day and night compare to stock halogen, but if i have to compare my TSX retro to kit, well, it is kinda day and night also! the beam pattern is so evenly wide spread. pictures will be posted soon.

Congrats man. How much did you pick up the TSX projectors for? Post up pix!

I just installed my 5000K kit the other day and waiting to do your shield mod as soon as I get more info on how to take out the headlights.

i got them from the retrofitter, $200 included TSX, bulb and amp connectors, good deal for me.

take out the housing was hard at first time, but once you got it work out, it is easy. 4 bolts and that's all!

How much was labor? or was it $200 for everything, labor included?
