TTT - Top Three Toyota's

We have done this on my Honda forums and it was always fun to dream.

Rules - Pick your top three favorite Toyota's ever,(no Lexus, no Scion).
Year, model, trim level and even factory color. No aftermarket parts or one off cars. We usually played USDM only but if you want to include a JDM or EDM, that's up to you.

For example mine would be;
1. 1997 Supra Turbo 6sp. Hard Top. Royal Sapphire Pearl
2. 1976 FJ40 Sky Blue
3. 1986 AE86 Corolla GTS Trueno - Panda with or without Tofu

1983 Toyota 4x2 pickup 4 cyl 22-RE engine.

Had 415,000 miles on it when sold.

Here are my top 2. I may or may not be biased though, considering these are both mine... 3rd Gen 4Runner, and the MK3 Supra.



For a #3 I'd probably go with a TRD first or second gen Tacoma 4x4 double cab. I love those trucks.

X70 Cressida Sedan in white (Would have to 5 speed swap though.)

73-78 Body style 2WD pickup, any color but yellow is fine as long as it's rocking original paint. Gotta have gold mesh wheels though.

And an AW11 MR2 in any color but red.

Lots of them were in contention for the top 3, but I think these are my 3 favorite, I like 90% of them though, never was a fan of the MKIV Supra though, I know I'm in the minority there.

I love the MKIV performance wise with what it did when it was new and what it competed with, but looks wise I agree, it's kinda eh to me. Stock was definitely the best look for them 99% of the time. It's amazing the number of awful body kits out there for them.

I always forget about the 2000GT, they're beautiful.. I guess I considered it to be more of cars that I could reasonably expect to own at some point.
