If you see a blue 94 runner with black fenders give a wave. I have my sons Runner down from Flagstaff for a few weeks to repair his transmission. Do you do Tundra waves? I'll post a pic of the runner later today.

I've never tried to wave at a tundra. Not sure they would understand why I was waving. But if you got one post a pic and ill be sure to look out for you.

I try and wave or even just make eye contact with anyone who has any mods at all. I'm suprised I've never seen you guys around.

i'm always around the grant/alvernon, ft lowell/ country club and campbell area. also you can always find me at the river and craycroft plaza with a crown and coke lol

hey hows that plasti-dip holding up on your rims? any peeling or fading?

It's not fading at all. However, there are a few spots where it's clear the surface wasn't as good as it could've been. It's like it's cracking at those places. But for <$6, I'm NOT complaining.

Was it necessary to take the tires off? Or do you think it would be possible to just cover them?

Ha! I actually went to your site and that's where I saw your rims but I didn't even notice your tire was still on. How did you prep them?

Cleaned them really well with Simple Green. Made sure all grease and grime were gone. Some rough spots I hit with a 4-1/2" sanding/flapper disk (Harbor Freight) with the angle grinder. In hindsight I probably should've done the entire surfaces...the only problem spots I could've avoided had I done that.

nice what grit did you use? ill probably have to do them by hand i dont own a sander. they look great ill probably try and knock them out this weekend. my original plan was to get them sandblasted then i was gonna paint them with a few coats of spray on bed liner to give them that rough look. this way will be perfect until i can get the money together for that. who knows may even just leave them with this

ill take some new pics here soon and post em up. i am all over town, i live in oro valley, but drive ALLLL over tucson for work.

this week i am next to nw hospital all week. theres a red 3rd gen 4runner in the parking lot with the runnings removed and bigger tires... debating on leave a "note"

I don't remember. You're welcome to borrow mine.

Your note should read as follows.

Dear sir or mam,
If your looking for a good time give me a call. I can't promise we wont get dirty but afterwards we can hose off in my front yard. If your new to this type of thing I promise to go slow. Be sure to bring lots of fluids you never know what youll need once we get started. Hope to hear from you soon. In the meantime I'm probably gonna wax just to make a good first impression.

Trevloc
