Tuesday Gas Prices

I was making A LOT more money in the stock market when the gas prices were a lot higher.

My portfolios were also higher as well.

Filling up for one hundred bucks was nothing when the stocks were sixty to eighty percent higher.

These gas prices will not last for long and it bodes well to those who buy the very inexpensive and on sale oil company and energy stocks like NOV, APC, COP.

stock market? ah yes, the news is and has been quite unhappy and bound to get unhappier til Bush goes to clear brush. And I like Texas! i dont think that the market is going anywhere up soon. maybe 2 years. gas in Anchorage today 2.62 down 20 cents in one week...............

And your point is???

Two years, the energy stocks could easily be a double, maybe a triple from these lows. The EPS's are historically low and oil has proven to rebound from these marked lows.

One 'usually' doesn't buy an energy stock today to make a killing tomorrow.

While you're going to be paying three bucks or more for fuel in two years, the money that can be made in oil and energy stocks will more than pay for another vehicle and all the fuel you'll use.

If this post is archived, we'll see who has made the money and who is 'content' at paying super low gas prices. ;):

well give me a minute and pull back on the reins cowboyl. its still dark up here in Anchorage and my game is not yet on. my point is that the economic situation is more than volatile. if any of the 3 automakers declare chapter 11 it may be longer. you might want to check out today NYTimes. you have the former Bush energy pal talking about that. stocks are not goint anywhere soon. better in my view to buy undervalued property...........then in a worst case scenario you can live on your gold.

We're talking fuel here in this thread not property, if I'm reading this correctly.

I listed an oil services supplier, an independent driller and an integrated and all are tied to the gas prices that's talked about in this thread.

Who ever mentioned 'buy undervalued property'?

$1.569 at a local BP/Amoco station. Yeah!

{It still makes me wonder why the same station was selling diesel fuel for $2.99, however.}

I am curious as to how much of this recent price decrease was brought on by merely talking about "drilling here" to explore domestic oil reserves. Perhaps history is repeating itself.
:girl:

$1.87 in San Francisco at what use to be the 76 station on Ocean Avenue and Miramar Street. How often do you see that in SF?! I need to get myself a tanker and stock up on this sh*t.

Denver metro is averaging a little over $1.50 but using your Supermarket cards I've seen (and paid) under $1.45.

keeps going down about 10c a week... in SF it's now down to $1.80 at 76, Shell, Chevron, and closer to $1.70 at the crapola places :p

Anchorage is $2.50 for the cheap stuff ... too bad AK does not have a refinery... seems kinda stupid :bash: to pump the crude to Lower 48 and then pump it back UP to AK again:confused:
