Tundra Adjustable Bilsteins: amount of lift for stock height springs?

Hey guys, I tried searching, but it seems that everyone who gets tundra billies runs them with tundra coils, or some other kind of coil that adds lift. Im wondering if anyone knows how much lift each notch on the adjustable tundra billies will net with stock-height springs. I'm wanting around 2.5 inches of lift from the shocks. Just curious what notch to set them to, to gain this amount.

Don't take this as a fact because I'm second guessing myself as I type this but I believe the 5100 perches act as a spring spacer when you get down to it. And I remember reading that a spacer doubles itself in lift. ie: a 1 inch spacer gives 2 inch of lift. So I'd think youd want whichever perch is about 1.25 inches higher then the bottom. But I'd wait for someone else to confirm.

I gots the 3-perch 5100's with stock coils. I believe the Tundra ones are 4-perch. First off, these shocks are slightly longer than stock so you will get a slight lift just installing them. I put mine on and left at lowest setting and got just under 1/2" lift. Anyway, if you put it on the highest perch, you'll get 2.5" of lift plus a little more due to shock length (still retaining the stock coils), roughly getting a total of 3".

Where the confusion lies, is that the Tundra shocks are taller than the Tacoma shocks to begin with (or am I wrong here?), so I'm not sure how much lift the tundra shocks would net even on the stock-height notch, much less when you start bumping them up the range of notches...

I just swapped mine yesterday, setting 5 with stock 99 coils gave me about 1/2" more than the Daystar 2.5" spacer kit, the ARB bumper lowered me about 1/2-3/4". I think these put me back to a true 2.5" over my stock. My hub center to flare is 23". ride is very nice. Hope this helps...:thumb3:

The bottom perch should be standard ride height. It is a little under twice the height gained per perch measurement. So if you raise the coil an inch, you will lift the rig a little less than 2".
