Tundra Coils

Is anyone running any tundra coils other than the y/y y/b? I know those are the preferred, but they are a little more difficult to find. I have found some other sets that are from a 04 double cab trd and have red dots. Any info is great.

supposedly some guys are using other Tundra coils and its working out but i know the blue/yellow's are progressive which gives you a great ride and also these particular ones give a little more lift. I had a used set on order shipped for $150 (blue and yellow coils) with Bilstein struts but ended up with a smokin deal on a new set of Tundra coils. I can get their name and # if you are interested to see if they still have them. Think they were in NC

i will be using a set of br/w b/w that came off a 2wd TRD access cab..the same truck that usually has yy/yb. Apparently the dots usually just indicate right and left and don't always tell you what the spring is from

Yeah I found a guy selling some red/orange orange/orange from a double cab trd. I looked into them a bit more and I think they are made to withstand the extra weight of the double cab, so they may be a little too stiff.

these guys have a set of the blue/yellows with Bilstein but they are the HD struts. I know they are off the vehicle and ready to ship b/c they had them boxed up for me . They quoted me $150 shipped but might give you a better deal. Think the truck had 109K miles on it.

Thanks for the link. Its for the 2001 Tundra right? Did you get a picture of the coils or did they tell you they were b/y y/y? What is the difference with the HD struts? I will get ahold of them and hopefully work out a deal.

they checked for me - they are the blue and yellows with the heavier valved HD bilsteins. Some people love em, others say too stiff but for $150 shipped you cant beat it. Like i said i had them paid for and all but found a smokin deal on new coils and went that route.
