Was surfing craigslist and found this..... first turbo 3vz I've seen!

Both block and head has been modified for higher compression (these engine should have came build this way from toyota)
Metal head gasket (youll never blow a head gasket ever again)

Oh god, where to start? First up are those bumpers. Especially the front one. Can't imagine what that pig must weigh. Oh and those oil leaks that he can't be bothered with. 100 psi T- fitting that cost nothing to fix. And let's not forget those goshdarndiddlydang valve cover gaskets(who needs 'em anywho). :yo:

Applaud the guy for doing something different, but why would you raise compression on a NA engine then add boost? The motor is going to tear itself up especially if he used standard cranks/pistons. No way is that going to hold up. And I'm not sure if the pics are after he completed it but it doesn't look like he's running an air filter, still has the tail pipes coming out the back and I don't see any boost gauge in sight. Just seems like someone who popped a hg and then threw this stuff together. Hopefully the buyer is aware and there's more prep/thought behind this then the ad leads me to believe.

I sent the guy a text and asked him how much he shaved off the heads and he conveniently couldn't remember, but said "don't take too much off or your valves will interfere with the pistons......" LOL DUH...
