Turbocharger

Don't be an ass. We're just really competitive.

He's not being an ass, he's being realistic. We have seen many threads here of guys wanting to chop down their runners, or make them faster, and they always get the reaction of "you bought the wrong car, mate", cause it is kind of true. Or asking how to do a really big job, when it is obvious that if they were capable of the job, they wouldn't be coming here asking us about it.

If you can blow over a grand just to "beat your roommate", then well, te salud, but most guys here can't do that. It's a silly reason to most of us who need to be fiscally responsible.

Seriously not trying to be an ass, if you come back on here with a turbo setup I will eat crow no questions asked. In the end you are talking thousands of dollars and months of time to make a truck a second or two quicker in the 1/4. I wouldn't hate on anybody that does it, just as Nelson said, lots of guys talk about it, but very few go through with it.

Maybe consider a re-gear, that would definitely give you the holeshot, and if you wanted to go lifted with bigger tires in the future, it would be a worthwhile investment.

What all do I need to re gear?
