Turn Signal Bulb NOOB QUESTION

Hi guys.

Total noob question, but i figured you guys could save me some time tomorrow when i go to change out this bulb (id do it now, but its raining here).

I got a turn signal bulb out, and I need to know the best/easiest way to access it. Im guessing its going to be me crawling underneath the front end?

That's how I do it. A headlamp is way handy. An 1/8 of a counterclockwise twist (drivers) and it comes right out. Hopefully you can get by with just a bulb but both times I've done this a new socket was required to keep the new bulbs from burning right out again.

Got the new bulb, thought it was a buster socket but it just wasnt in all the way. Ill hope the socket's ok. If this bulb shorts out like the last one, ill kno it needs replacing. Thanks for the info!

Hey zerowkul98,

Be sure that the new bulb is fully inserted into that socket ... it is a really snug fit.

Where did you get new sockets? I'm hoping to drill out my rear fog lights in the bumper and fit sockets, need sockets first, havent found good ones yet. The rear fogs are the same mold as the front turn signals, just red.

Can't find a receipt but looking at my pics there is a 938 and a 25 printed on the socket (of what I can see.)

Purchased the parts at the dealer and installed it myself - still flickers super fast. The Relay/bulb is in tight and snug (heard a click sound while turning clockwise).

Could it be a fuse?

Found the receipt.

Part #90075-60060 Plug socket. Paid $10
