Twist A Shock...

I just took my front Bilstein shocks with Tundra coils on 'em to a shop, had them dismantle them and set the shocks up a notch (get a little more lift). Now, back home I'm putting them back on and the lower eye holes doesn't line up with the bracket on the control arm. Is there a way to turn/twist the shock to get it to line up, or do I need to take the shocks back to get re-adjusted?

The right side doesn't look as bad, but I haven't been able to pry/push it into the bracket yet. I did try rotating the shock assembly, but these are the best/closest angles it gets to fitting. Any ideas? Thanks for your help!

You should be able to put a screwdriver or pry bar through the eyelet on the bottom of the shock and turn it. Or have you tried this and they won't turn?

I did the same thing. I just got my channel lock and grabbed the bottom eye and turned it.

I had tried that, yes. However, I decided to find something longer-- much longer and that did the trick. I ended up using the bar that comes with our trucks to lower the spare tire. Long, and gave the leverage I needed.
