Been a while sense a update.
So 4runner has become a garage queen. I moved into a new condo i recently bought (aka all my money is gone). I only get 3 parking spots, 2 garage (gf and room mates taco fits in there and I DD my duramax which gets the extra spot on the street. the 4runner gets to live in my parents extra garage/shop.
The 4runner needs lots of work to get up to date on maintience and general usability. Its been due for a TB/WP so she got some parts.
TB/WP + all the "stuff" and Valve cover gaskets + all the "stuff" and spark plugs/wires for a tune up.
Parts all layed out.
Valve covers off. not to bad for 212k. Both sides look the same. Only took a pic of the one side.
I will get more pics tomorrow. TB was last changed at 90k. Looks great for 130k. Called it quits for today. Going to take the valve covers and some misc parts and put them in the parts washer at my buddies shop tomorrow. I wil get that all sealed up before i make to big of a mess.

its been a while, i dont have any updates on my truck other then we took it camping up in mammoth. figured i would share a couple of pictures.
Now i have some decisions to make, either i need to start building this thing (long list of stuff i want) or sell it and my truck to get a new 5th gen TE.

it really doesn't do much unless it cranked wayyy up it does get the low notes which is all i really wanted.

Gotcha. It's a pretty confined space...do you think it would sound better with a high quality 8" or even 10"?

Lights are all mounted up, now I need to sort my wiring out. I fired them up last night and they are awesome!
Its all up there, I will figure out wiring and then i will need to put some more paint on the welds. I also added a mount for a flag and CB up there while i was at it.

Not many pictures but all my wiring is done, just need to clean up the dash and put it all together.
Here is the fuse/relay panel I built to put in the rear of the truck. This is before I fitted the AL and zip tied everything in place.
Should have more updates today/tomorrow. Off to pismo for the weekend so I have to get it all done! Also got new pads and rotors installed, finally wore out my tundra brakes. Also replaced my custom end links with factory ones. Hopefully they will not make so much noise anymore!

I saw these pictures, and said holy crap, I need to go back to Mammoth! Been camping around there, but never hit any trails. That scenery is amazing. What trail/trails is this?

its the road/valley up to laurel lakes. I wasnt able to make it to the actual lake due to a huge snow bank. You can only get there late in the season.
