4Runner Recovery - YouTube , has anyone seen this video before, or know anything about it? i was just cruising youtube and stumbled across it.

you just have to have a shop cut off the factory bead and have a new one put on, you can turn almost any wheel into a bead lock wheel.

they work by clamping the bead of the tire in between two pieces of metal. think of it like pliers clamping down on something, in this case the bead of the tire. normally the tire sits on the bead(lip, or about a half inch down -inside) of the rim. you tighten all the bolts to securely hold the tire in place.

That is Bruce and Charles (Calrox). The 4runner had lost it brakes on a very steep decent and rolled. I think it was at Cleghorn if I remember correctly.
