TYC parts?

Is the TYC brand any good? I was trying to fix my A/C blower and pretty much destroyed it last night. Considering all the copper colored dust I saw around the motor casing, it probably needed replacing anyway.

I was looking for a replacement, and have found some TYC blowers for under $50. Just wondering if it would be safe to get that over the Toyota OEM? Of course, for all I know they could be one and the same...
