U-Hual Hitch Question

I am debating about getting a U-Hual hitch. They are only charging me a total of $222 which includes the hitch, install and tax. My question about it is does anyone know if they will be able to install it correctly with my factory warning harness already setup under the truck? (I assume they might have to move it) Also does anyone know if the U-Hual label is a sticker that I can remove? (I dont want to drive around advertising for U-Hual.

It's probably a Curt 13445. I have seen them manufacture and advertise both of them. Try Goo Gone for the sticker, or put another sticker, TRD or something over it. They should be able to just bend your stock plug mount. I will be putting on one this week.
If you want to save a few bucks, buy a Curt you can put it on yourself, see threads on this site.

I had a U Haul receiver hitch installed on a SUV in the 90's. It was a top quality unit and held up very well. I would have no problem installing another.

Be careful if U-Haul is installing, they are notorious for shotty work. I personally would never let them touch my vehicle.

How hard can it be to install a hitch. Usually just 6 to 8 bolts in pre-existing holes.........Rocket Surgery

I couldn't agree more, but do some research and see how many complaints are out there. If you do have them install make sure you double check everthing they touched, and under no circumstance should let them attempt to install a brake controller.

Avoid U-Haul. Run away!

They installed a trailer light converter kit for me back when I was stupid.

6 months later I found they had hacked the wiring causing a short and tons of idiot lights. Took a mechanic to find the source, a melted converter.

Either DIY with our help or take it to a real trailer parts/service store.

You can install it yourself in about 45 minutes with basic tools. I got my Hidden Hitch for ~$120-130 shipped. The biggest obstacle will be removing the rear tie-down loop.
