i understand that the cheapest the shitty so i will save for the uniballs that look to be the strongest and of course the most expensive. i'm just worrying about the deterioration of the ball due to salt we have on our roads here in winter. Just heard about that.

Just make sure the uniballs are stainless steel and maintain them with a dry lube like triflow. After cleaning of course.

Yep, quality products are seldom cheap - unless you can find some good, used UCA's on this board. I'm going with the Camburg with the pre-installed Moog BJ's, the same one's Dan listed above. Plus, I just like the service you get with Wheeler's Off-Road.
It'll be a few more weeks for me, too. I'm getting ready to buy some sliders this week, so the UCA's will have to wait until I can save up a little more cash.
I've been running mine for 3 years now, with plenty of off-roading trips and no issues at all. Back then it was less than $400 for the set of them and there weren't as many options. With how they're priced now, I'd be more inclined to go with those Camburg/Moog Ball joint UCA's linked above. The SPC ball joint is replaceable as well.

I pulled the trigger on the Camburg BJ UCA's yesterday. I'm hoping to install this weekend. I chose them over SPC because of the history of failures both with bushings and welds. It sounds like all issues have been corrected. I chose BJ over Uniball for winter driving and less maintenance. In Colo we gat a lot of sand and mag chloride so I wanted a "more" sealed system. I'm also not desert racing, jumping or spending > 50% of my time off-road.
Camburg BJ's were the right choice, the right price, and I'm confident the they will help me get the right alignment.

I'm running those Camburgs and I've been happy with them on and off road. They are a tad squeaky, but that's partially my own fault for not lubing the hell out of the bushings before install. I'll be doing a rebuild on them soon to fix my own error, but after a year and just about 12k miles (with off roading 1-2x a month) I've been happy with them.

Was there enough lube included with the arms when you installed them? Or, would you recommend getting some additional lube before install?

There's probably enough to lube the bushings for install, but you aren't going to have enough to fill the voids via zerks after install. I just picked up a tube for the grease gun from Camburg while I was buying the balljoint caps since Wheeler's doesn't ship with caps.
Do the pivot bushings also have zerk fittings for greasing, or is it just the ball joint on those?
Every couple of months or so, or after driving through water or heavy rain I get some bushing squeak out of my front end. I just keep a can of Tri-flo in my recovery gear bag and give all the non-grease-able front end bushings (UCA and LCA) a couple squirts now and then to keep them quiet. Works.

Seems like mine are squeaking as well - I am unfamiliar with where these bushings are located however. Are there diagrams or pictures of what I should be lubricating?

Both bushings and ball joints have zerks for greasing.
