Uggh...still vibrates. Help!

Okay, so the dealer put on some new tires, which helped with my vibration, but not completely. I am still getting a little vibration in the steering wheel. I would have to say it's 85% better, but not completely. I'm going on monday to ride with the shop foreman to see what he thinks, but what else could they check? They put new Michelin Cross Terrains (which I'm not thrilled about) which I thought would have fixed the problem. Any help on this one?

Sorry, If you don't know what i'm talking about...I posted last week about my new '05 SE that has a vibration. The replaced my Dunlops on Tuesday.

Did you ask your dealer to act on the TSB that someone posted in your other thread? It was directly related to this problem.

I mentioned it to him but he didn't really have much of a response. I was going to push it, but I wanted to see if the new tires helped first...they didn't. I am going to say something about again...I guess i'm just looking for anything else that might help. You could say i'm paranoid now and just looking for some re-assurance that my new car will be fixed. Sorry to keep asking about this. I'm just wanting this fixed.

Vibration on 4th gen..poblem fixed

I own 04 4runner with OME 3" lift. I had a intermittant problem with my steering wheel vibrating around 60mph for the past 4 months. I had my tires balanced and rotated numerous times. Come to find out there's a machine that eliminates hidden vibrations in your tires by rotating them around 50mph and applying pressure(large roller that emulates the road) to the tires so that the computer can find inperfections in the tire. The machine model number is GSP 9700. Google it by typing in the model number. It's been out for a couple of years now. Man it works!!! My car feels like glass on the freeway now

Discount Tires should carry this machine but you have to ask for it. The reason why is it can take up to 40mins to balance 4 tires. Make sure you ask for this machine, if they don't have it, walk away it's not worth the time and money. Also make sure they have a qualified technician to use it. By the way you're going to pay around $80 to get it done, considering the bug you have it's worth it.

I had Dueler REVO's 265/70/17 when my problem started, so I got rid of them because I may have put hot spots on the tires from the vibrations. I settled with BF Goodrich KO's265/70/17, love them.
