UGH! Advice on Torn F Axle boots

Trailer Towing and axle boot damage?

Just finished 150 mile drive hauling a heavier 6x10 enclosed trailer, and noticed the "milkshake" grease and water mix caked on my LCArms. Instantly I saw that both boots are torn completely off the lower clamps! I have Toytec Ultimate at the full 3" in the front (OME 891 coils in back) w/ diff drop

I did NOT use 4x4 on the trip down... Any help on what caused this? How long can I drive on this before damage occurs?

I wouldn't drive long because dirt and water will get in, the grease will come out and ruin the CV.

The CV axles spin even in 2wd.

Pull the axles and have them re-booted. CVJ in Denver can re-boot. This is a better option than the junk sold at auto parts stores.

ya get them rebooted if you can get them done quick otherwise its actually pretty easy to pull the whole axle and replace them, I had both mine blow out with in 1 week of each other and it happened within 2 weeks of cranking up my coilovers up 1" more, so it was most likely from the lift, but replaced it with some O'rileys they were about 75$ each, i have heard that they are cheap and can break easy but i dont offroad to often and they came with a lifetime warranty so if they break on me.....oh well i can get free replacement! I recommend buying the rebuild kit from Toyota. If I remember correctly they are < $25. It's pretty simple to do. The only special tool you need is a cv band clamp tool for the clamps on the RH side in the image below.
