Ugh...Need alarm...pls advise

I really hate people who break into 4runners and steal my stuff! Not just my 4runner, but my other car as well and jacked the radio and other stuff. But they were nice enough to lock the doors behind them so no one else could pilfer.

Anyways. I need to alarm my 2006 SR5 4x4. What is the best without breaking the bank? I would do my own install, but always makes me nervous cutting into wire bundles.

Well for $35 bucks you can go down to your local Humane Shelter and adopted the meanest ugliest Pit Bull you can find..:hatsoff:

On a serious note I can't help you on alarms but someone will chime in.

Viper makes good products. I have a Viper in mine with an automatic starter and two way remote. It was probably the most expensive alarm PC Richard & Son offered at the time and they installed for free. They have cheaper ones with just alarm that are around $100 I believe. How did they get into your truck?

My Pit Bulls are neither ugly or mean, but they did stop kids from breaking into my garage and scared them away...
