Me too. Infact it doesnt bother me THAT much, but having driven vehicles much faster it does get tedious. But I live island style, slow Someday she'll roast someone lol
The 3.0 has a bad rep, but its a toyota......so just dont over abuse it like we 22re's can do and you'll be dandy mate!
just messin with ya, aslong as the PO didnt pound the piss right out of her you've got lots of goodtimes (as said above) coming your way.

Honestly, putting around town or driving normally in a 3.0/5spd wasn't bad, but when you put your foot into it you quickly realize it was going as fast as it could to start with.

I don't know, maybe my sense of speed is skewed? My other ride sprints to 60mph in well under 3 seconds, completes the 1/4 mile in the very low 10s at 140mph and still manages to get 40mpg if I am commuting. The trade-off being that it has no roof, back seat or trunk.
