uhh so im a jackass and backed into a "tree"

i was out in wharton park here in good old NJ... i was back with a few friends posted up just haning out whena group of trucks came up behind us... we dipped down a side trail to let them through and when backing up i backed into a dinkny little pine tree

so now my back quarter panel? where my parking light is, is mildly pushed back and my parking light lense shattered. from waht i can tell the panel is fine, just needs to be taken off and put back into place, however my parking light is smashed. does anyone know where to order one for a semi cheap price? ****! this sucks:bash:

i guess it could be worse. but damn i hate my tint. i could not see anything out of my back windows and was haning out the window trying to see(not enough).

all in all not too bad i need a new parking light and in the process i plan on doing the brake light parking light mod AND i want to install additonal back up lights.

so anyone with any input feel free to make fun, laugh, or give me ideas for buying a new lense without paying an arm and a leg. THANKS!

no i was too much of an *******... i was being mr cocky like i "didnt need to roll down the window"

yeah im an *******

i fixed the whole back bumper and everything is good except now i need a new parking light lense piece... any ideas where to get one? i figure while its all apart im going to do the mod to make them functioning brake lights...

so yeah... any input?
 
wow.....what an idiot....you have a roll down window and you chose not to use because why again.....???

I hope there was a group of hotties with unbelievable proportions cheering you on to reverse without looking. That is the only reason I can see you not rolling the window down.

Damn.....next time, make the other truck crew go around you. You got to own that trail, let everybody know.

I think I seen a light lense on AlexJet's page. I think it is still for sale.

to be honest i didnt roll the window cause i was backing straight out of the trail and didnt feel it was necessary. i was looking at my side mirrors, but with it being dark and all i kinda went too far to one side.. bummer

thankfull no hotties, just to two friends who gave their fair share of jokes... but thanks ill check out his page!!
 
yeah Im just giving you sh*t...bro.

My second time i took my 4R wheeling, i got stuck in the boonies and the only way out was through this over grown trail. What I should have done was get out and spend an hour breaking all the long branches...instead my wife convinced me to charge 'em..now I have "racing stripes" down both sides of my ride. They are only surface scratches but visible. I consider them stripes of a battlefield general.
 
hahaha the worst part was that this "tree" was barely 3 inches in diameter but it sure did scrape up my bumper, but like you said i consider them more battle wounds than scratches hah

what is this mod? not familiar. also I would love to see some pix of your audio setup. Im a fan of JL speakers especially their subs rock. I never heard of a 13.5" sub before. What kind of speakers do you have in the doors?

and yeah i didnt know they made 13.5s either till i tried to buy a box and and realized i had to make my own. so i made two individual boxes so that i could remove one sub when i need extra space for tools or equipment. the setup is kinda sloppy with my amp just lying on the floor. i wanted to mount it somewhere, but not really sure where. ill have pix soon (ive been promising pics for weeks now, but ill get there eventually)

This summer I also crashed into a small pine tree in Wharton State Forest, backing off the trail to let someone pass. I swung out too wide and damaged the front. My stupidity cost me $1,700 that day.

Perhaps we can get a class action lawsuit against those trees? Obviously they are a danger to society.

hahah was it a pine tree? my back bumper was literally coated in sap... i had to take a razor blade and carefully scrape it off, AND THEN use goof off for about half hour to finally get it clean... damn pine trees

where do you live? im in hammonton, so batsto is pretty much my back yard

i never heard of them, but i will def check them out! i love all music and want to deef upgrade the speakers. i have an 8G iphone, 80G ipod, 8G ipod and another dinky mp3 player! crazy ? my music collection is rediculous!
 
yeah I am a music freak as well. I am actually trying to compile all of my downloaded songs and CD's onto a portable harddrive. It is taking a while to do.

I mostly listen to Reggae (Dancehall & Lovers Rock), Hip Hop, & my Hawaiian (Island) music. I pride myself on the underground reggae....so much out there.

Yeah I think I am MB Quartz fan for life. The series speaker I did have was only the "entry level" version if you will. There were still two series higher than the one I had. But the one I had was awesome, I can only imagine how the other series performed. Also, I would never run a coaxle setup (unless they were 6x9"). I think separates are the way to go.
