Ultimate with LRca's or ss1.2A

I have long looked into both of these options, as well as others. I am asking for an opinion on which one to get, taking into consideration i live in the snow belt.
I have heard that the toytec coilovers take a huge beating from winter. There is no panhard adjustability with the toytec, but price wise toytec with the light racing control arms comes in at $9 dollars cheaper than the SS1.2 (delivered).
I know both kits are great products, both coming from knowledgeable people. Im looking for objective views. The 4runner will be used as an offroader, city commuter, boat hauler, and hunting rig.
Thanks to anyone and everyone who cares to read and leave opinion and look forward to hearing new info.

I can't speak regarding the Toytec stuff too much, as I initially went with the spacer/890's setup.

The SS1.2

What can I say....it's basically all OEM parts, only he adds little doodads like diff drops, panhards, brake lines and brackets. The OEM stuff, is basically the best of the OEM stuff you can buy. If you go with a mild lift by SS...it's parts from a 99 4Runner. If you go with 1.2 is basically tundra / landcruiser parts.....

At the end of the day the OEM parts are great quality....so I would say Steve's stuff is probably a good choice over the Toytec stuff......my 2 cents!

UCA's do not really do any good unless you have extended travel coilovers. Im talking about EXTENDED travel icons or extended travel Camburgs.

and no panhard adjustability is a good thing. This is a heavily covered topic. A quick search will find all sorts of debates. But an extended panhard will force the driveshaft into the gas tank as it cycles.

For the winter and salty roads i think the OME stuff may be the best. Its all powder coated and doesnt have exposed shafts like coilovers. You could buy toytec/icon/SAW's/Camburg/Allpro/King/ Fox/fabtec-dirtlogic coilovers and possible buy a set of coil wraps. They are a boot for the coilovers .

The UCA's are good for helping with the angle of the upper ball joints as well as allow for more space between the tire and UCA.

I'm glad I have mine. My upper ball joints were getting destroyed.
