Can anbody build a TE online? Am I missing something??

Please do not tell me the TE will be a regional option. This happenned with the V8 late in its life. The V8 (and the manual in the FJ) was not available in my area.

According to the Toyota agent I chatted with online yesterday (on their website theres the link to chat with a specialist) they said it is regional. I tried PA (19525), MA (01720), NY (14623) and none showed up. So I tried Texas and then Las Vegas, then San Diego and then Los Angeles. I couldn't get it to show up on ANY of them for me. However the agent claimed that 90034 allowed it to show up for them. The website DEFINITELY has issues with the 4runner section but the agent also said it will be regional which is going to suck.

Yes unfortunately it will be regional
Also, the kdss/nav combo is even rarer than just the TE! (meaning just because you can get a TE in your area doesn't mean that you can get the kdss/nav combo!) I don't know wtf toyota was thinking... I also chatted with a toyota "expert" (total joke lol) and they said special orders would be extremely rare...

Anyways, here are two zips that you should be able to get the TE with the nav/kdss according to toyota: 77002, 30303 (however, the toyota car builder hasn't been working for me lately)
I looked these up and they are atlanta and the south! why toyota would bring their TE with offroad options there and not somewhere like the PNW or SW is beyond me...

It shows up in Reno (89501), but not Sacramento County (95608).

The "Build Your Toyota" feature on the Web site is based on what's shipping to or currently on the lot in your region within the next month. It doesn't mean a certain option or trim level can't be had in your region - just that it's not there yet. Give Toyota a chance to build some inventory.
