Hi all,
Just got a new-to-me 2001 SR5 4x4 and I've been enjoying learning more about it in this forum. One thing peculiar about my Runner is that one of the tires does not match the others. Three of the four are Goodyear Wrangler RT/S, while the left rear is a Bridgestone Dueler HT. They are all in good condition, though the Bridgestone may be slightly more worn. The spare is a third type, BF Goodrich Rugged Trail TA. My question-will there be any problem in having tires that don't match and might be slightly out of sync in terms of wear? Or will it work out as long as I rotate them at regular intervals? Also, I'm not sure what the OEM tires were for that year but do you think they slapped on the spare to avoid paying for 4 new tires?
