Daytona International Speedway 4th of July NASCAR race
In true redneck form I use my rig as a platform for watching the race.
The outriggrs carry most the weight.
I have 3 different size tables I can put on the back - this is the XL. You can also see the race weekend set up.
Here is the normal camp set up I use for camping/summer adventures (and the "beach/camp table).
Here is ADV set up. You can see kind of see the base plate on the back with the "happy hour mini table", just white chunk of ply.
Last one - the tail gate. Designed to sit flush with the lip of the rear bumper - could be my all time fave.

The Honolulu Police Department (Hawaii) has a subsidized vehicle program where qualifying police officers can use their personal vehicles when they are on duty. They can purchase vehicles from a list of approved vehicles and the police department outfits them with a police radio, computer, siren and removable roof light bar. The police department pays the officers a monthly allowance including fuel. Many police officers in this subsidized vehicle program use 4th generation 4Runners.

A long time ago there were some cool pics of the PD's 4Runners.
Moved to General... I am sure some other gens have been used creatively

I don't have pictures, but....
When we were building our house, there were some really large concrete slabs in the way...then the concrete truck emptied it's chute right on top of them. Made a large heavy mess. We needed to get them out of the way, and one truck could not do it on it's own.
We strapped both my Wife's 97 & my 96 in series, put them both in 4wd low, and pulled that huge mess out of the way.
Of course, the next day there was a bobcat there to do some dirt work...
Oh well, we had fun anyway

No pics- but I used my red 95 2nd gen to bullfight a cow that refused to move one time and that sucker head butted my passenger door. Not a steer just a cow... no real damage incurred...

Is that a 620 KT Hog on the back your 4Runner? That's a bit of weight on the rear ;->. I had a 600 and a 620. Heavy but bullet proof. Kick Twenty Minutes. Have graduated to electric start KTMs.
