Under Hood Light

Does anyone on here have an under hood light and if so what are you using?


On my brothers old 94 Chevy pickup it had a reel light under the hood that you could move around. I was thinking fo picking one of those up and wiring it in.

i have thought of buying a couple small LED lights and mounting up under the hood and run them on a switch... its kinda nice to have some light in the dark on the side of the road or middle of the trail

i think T4R4LIFE got these push on lights that stick underneath the hood. maybe check that build thread, i think they were pretty cheap too

Had a 89 chevy silverado that had that light attached to a wire reel. That thing was awesome! I know what you mean.

...with a magnet on the back too. I had one as well, great touch. But that was back when a guy could fix his truck at night on the side of the road without a computer!
