i love the older mk1 jetta's, do a 1.8T swap and hold on! those things are light and can be made fast really easy, plus the lines arent too bad for a 20 year old econobox

I must admit this thread doesn't feature any "normal" cars as most of the ones that have been posted up are fairly top of the line for their model, desirable by most, or rare lol, and i believe i started that with the Land Rover lol.

I am surprised by how many of you guys like land rovers here, i have actually had a Defender 90 for those of you who haven't heard me rave yet.

I like the Golf R and the Corrado's but i am a sucker for the 2004 Blue R32, its a sick car, IDC about the FWD bias, i would much prefer it to a WRX or STI, a twin turbo VR would blow them away anyway!

I bought it from 4RunningDaily's dad a few months ago.

I have made a few changes. I finally took some pics. Here is a preview with more in my build thread soon.

I use this car for work mileage. I drive about 2000 miles a month on average and receive the federal standard of $0.55 / mile (tax free); some guys prefer to treat is income and drive beaters but I'd rather use the cash on the car.

BTW, my USAA insurance only increased $8 / month going from a 2001 Camry 4CYL to this 2006 330i manual
