after installing a volant cai, borla ehaust & larger ,heavy tires (e rated) my 06 4.7 lacked a little in the low end, headers were too much of a problem to have installed, the y pipe is still crimped, so that was out, i broke down & got the unichip Q, programmed for my exact mods... im not gonna get it dynoed,, but it has so far given me back alot in the whole rpm range. it has a switch for both low & high octane. im happy with it, even considering the 675 price. i mean my borla catbac was over 800. for someone that doesnt want the headache of a header install (labor price) on 06 & above but still would want a little more,(maybe 10-12 hp) what l im saying is that with some mods & the chip tuned for them, i believe its worth it,... so far. time will tell, some ecu can learn to work around chips. just my 2 cents.
