Hmm, in local classifieds, someone is selling a 3rd gen parts truck.

..but this caught my eye:

Highlights:
Engine - $300 (2.7L 3RZ-FE inline-4)
5-speed transmission and manual transfer case (with new Toyota OEM clutch) - $300
Rear axle with e-locker and wiring - $400
Driveshafts - $50 each
Doors - $100 each
Struts (Bilstein) - $100 pair front

Hmm... 3RZ-FE + 5-Speed Manual Trans + E-Locker

Could this likely be the 4.56 geared E-locker version?

Would the front and rear diffs be worth snatching up the whole truck for?

Could this likely be the 4.56 geared E-locker version?

Would the front and rear diffs be worth snatching up the whole truck for?

Looks like he might sell you the diffs and locker for less than the truck. Almost tempted to grab the tranny for the clutch, but for just the clutch that would be a lot of extra effort for not much savings

Ask for the axle code on the door jamb. If it is A05A its 4.56 And yes i know nothing is confirmed until a spin test /gear count is done.
