Unplugging The Battery

From reading ToyotaDan's recent thread I learned that if you unplug your battery, the rear defroster may not work until you open and close the back hatch window several times. The owner's manual also says you need to "normalize" all the power windows if the battery has been disconnected. Is there a full checklist of all the things you need to reset after the battery has been disconnected?

Also, I've read that disconnecting the battery is a way if "fixing" certain electrical glitches. Is there a complete list of glitches that can be remedied that way?

I always have to "normalize" the sunroof, drivers window and rear window. Of course you lose the radio settings and trip A & B mileages as well. If there is anything else to do I haven't done it.

I noticed my auto headlights off circuit was also resetted. I left the lights on, opened and closed the driver door, set the alarm and on second try, the headlights went off after 30 seconds as they should.
