When I turn the key to the on position my ABS system goes through some type of cycling process. If I hold the brakes down when starting the (96) 4runner the ABS unit doesn't cycle. Folks smarter than I am say that there is a internal leak in the accumulator.
Any input about similar issues with your ABS system would be appreciated. Mechanic took the truck for a test drive and was able to get the ABS system to work effectively 4 different times. Also the ABS light doesn't come on other than when you first start the vehicle.
