Had a busy weekend! Installed JDM style blacked out headlights, removed safari bar and mounted lights to bumper...I love it so much more now!

the cornfed 2/1 should be arriving this week...hopefully an install next week!

So you drilled through and mounted right to the bumper ? I like it . Thats what my son told me to do instead of doing a front bar.

yup, right throught the bumper...following nathans tips...worked out great...just be sure its not too close to the hood!

I did find someone to install...the same shop that did my exhaust mod will do the lift...good bunch of guys!

Wait, i dont want to sound really re****ed (excuse me cuz i've been gone from America for over 2 months now) but your rims are the 17" SE rims right? Funny, I think the Land Cruiser Prado over here has the EXACT same rims, which I just barely realized! lol :biggrin2:

they do now...I showed them pics of the disconnect and gave them a copy of cornfed's instructions...the tech there is a good guy...he did some research on his own for this install as well.
Might be a later install than I initially thought, as we just had our second child last weekend...thats kinda takin up my time right now! :biggrin2:

Hey Iron, when you get a chance, can you take a pic of your hood protector from the other side (looking down the hood) yours looks like it sits low to the hood, I like that look, some of the hood protectors I have seen sit so high off the hood. Looks funny to me, especially on those that have the hood scoop.

If anyone else has a similar hood protector, if you could supply a photo or two that would be great in my deciding to get one or not..
