Updated Pics

Thanks Iron; it does in fact sit closer to the hood than others I have seen....

How's cleaning the vehicle, is it a problem with the protector on (drying/moisture, etc..) Does it require any drilling?

I have a nose mask on my other vehicle, I am free to put it on and take it off depending on road trips or local driving which is why I ask.. I don't like things that are permanent, especially because my vehicle is silver.

its virtually impossible to clean under it b/c it is so close to the hood...I really havent found that to be too much of a problem though....there are plastic clips that slide on the hood that you screw to...no drilling....no damage...unlike the holes I just put in my bumper for the hellas!
 
Okay, well that's good to know... I can always use compressed air to blow out the water from under the protector.... If you don't mind me asking, where did u get your hood protector? Also I want to add some strobes to the lenses in the rear (rear reflectors) how do they come out? Was also wondering if you knew if the 2006/2007 LED tail lights will fit directly into the 2005? I like the look of the LED's better.. + it will freshen the look of the vehicle...

Finally, lol... how does one get a picture (avatar) under their name on this site... I can't figure it out... :bash:

I think I got the hood protector at partznet.com.

I do believe the LED's are plug and play in any 4th gen...AlexJet would know better..

it looks you got the avatar thing figured out!
 
Iron, thanks again for the info; yeah I figured the avatar thing out.. now I feel like I belong...lol...
 
i really like what you've done. that takes some ba**s to drill into your bumper. i almost did it until a buddy of mine gave me a bull bar from a lease return t4r at his work. i think i like the look of that better. i'm still thinking about taking the bar off and driling. i just can't get myself to do it.... but, good job. can't wait to see the lift kit installed.

I was worried about drilling as well...but once you mark the hole and start drilling, its easy! I like the look alot better than when I had the safari bar. The safari bar made the front of the truck look too low to me.
 
ok, a question to all who have had the cornfed installed....other than disconnecting the xreas in the correct spot, what else do I need to look out for?

still cant figure the avatar and the signature pix out yet....=( I just bought new camera and I think there is an email size pix setting that I can use. I am waiting for the next time I am in the sand, then I will snap away.

Once I can be sure it wont vibrate too much for me ill probably be doing somethung similar!
