Updating the Navigation DVD

Does anyone know what (if any) option I have on updating the DVD in my factory navigation system? I have a 2005 Limited with the E7005 headunit.

My disc is black with blue/green printing with the words "DATA ver.04.2" at the bottom. I live in SoCal so I believe this is specific to my region, right? I think this is a pic of what I have: http://i.ebayimg.com/24/!BO64v,g!2k~$(KGrHgoH-DMEjlLlvjJvBJ)FDVC-w!~~_1.JPG

Anyway, I have recently had a few addresses "not found" and wondered if I could get a newer DVD since mine came with my 4R in 2005.

I just called my local Toyota Dealer's Parts dept and asked about updating the DVD (version 7.1) in my 2008 4Runner. The latest Nav DVD is 8.x (he wasn't sure of the exact version as they don't have one in stock, but it is version 8-dot-something). Anyway, Toyota comes out with a new Nav DVD once a year the first of October.

i just ordered a 2010 versioin 10.1 gen 5 lexus dvd off amazon.com. I was at version 7 so i'm hoping for significantly updated maps.
