upgrade to dual zone climate control? Possible?

Is it possible to update a 4runner to the limited dual zone climate control?

but it has no conclusion if somebody did it.

I am looking for a limited for the dual zone, if I can retrofit for a reasonable cost, I may consider the more available SR5 or Sport.

Very expensive. It would require the control unit and evaporator box. Even then the wiring harness wont match.

While the members of this forum are "mod" happy, this one is a doozie. It sure would require a slew of temperature sensors, HVAC motor/assembly and of course the HVAC controls. Let's not forget about wires that just aren't present in your non-dual climate control. I'm sure it could be done, but enough tenacity and an open wallet (deep open wallet).

So yeah, look for a Limited that has all the jazz. Be warned though, not alot of people like the HVAC (dual or not) of the 4Runner thus questioning the
worth of putting in a system like this.
