My headlights on my 98 suck, what is involved with upgrading to 2001 or later? Is it just find some and slap them in or what? Tail lights too?

The fronts can be replaced, same fit. I dont know about the rears but I would imagine they are the same as the body didnt change in rear over the years that I know of.
You should look at doing a HID projector retrofit. Much better light than halogen.

Yep, plenty of info on the site about both, but here is info about the headlights:

Newer year tails will fit, but they use a different wiring harness - easily replaced - so you'll need both.

Unless you are doing it for looks, it's not going to make much of a difference.
Changing to a higher wattage bulb ($) or HID projectors ($$$) will make a bigger difference.

The 99+ headlights are a HUGE upgrade over the old 96-98 style. Before I got my 99's, I wanted to do retrofits, but now I don't because these 99's are so nice

Chuckles, So I can just order some 99-02 headlights like these and they will swap out easily ?

Yes. However, those lenses are plastic. Buy headlights with glass lenses, I believe DEPO may be a good brand.

Yes, they're a direct swap. I recommend the TYC ones if you go aftermarket. They seem to be the best; however, a used OEM pair would be the best.
