Upgrading rear bumper

So recently I was hit by a uninsured motorist, damage was isolated to the rear bumper. I am looking into the opportunity of upgrading to a steel rear bumper. Due to the damage location I was planning on going with the C4 fabrication bumper.

My questions are

1) Has anyone run their dual swing bumper on stock suspension?

2) What rear coils should I be looking at for the increase in weight? Or is this even required?
Currently I am not looking at lifting the vehicle

3) Please post pictures if you are currently running the dual swing set up.

There are a couple of threads on this subject but yeah, you will need to do heavier coils on the rear. With dual swing outs and a spare + fuel or whatever you could be easily over 400lbs of weight hanging off the back. Take a look at the Dobinsons C59-327 coils, great stuff. Will have to upgrade the shocks while at it and also consider Airlift air bags if you plan on towing. And then do a 2" lift up front to compensate for the rake.

I haven't found any that address use with stock suspension through searching. I tried calling Dobinson, but was not able to get through. I am hoping to talk with them later. Thanks for the response

The rear end with stock coils will sag even with a 50lb bag of rice let alone a 200lb+ plate bumper/swing out setup. You going to need some heavy duty coils if you plan to run a new bumper, gear, and passengers in the back. Those coils will definitely provide you additional lift so plan to upgrade your shocks too or else you'll top out and ruin your stock ones.
