upgrading the front 6x9's.

I'm sure that there was something that I could have purchased to do this but what would be the fun in that.

1st used a dremel to cut the old speaker out.

Then put the new speaker into its place.

Next I used and adhesive to hold the new speaker in place.

Finally put everything back together.

Nice job, I did the same procedure on the rears I even soldered a couple of extentions unto the speaker tabs so I could keep using the stock plug connector.

Slick- I may do the same thing if i decide to switch out my fronts. I put type s alpines into the back doors and kind of jerry-rigged them into the spot. Look, work, and sound fine though... but the front could prove to be more of a trick since they're oblong.
