Upper control arm bushings….

I'm heading into uncharted territory. I need to replace the driver side upper control arm bushing. They rattle, pop, clank, clunk and other noises I can't describe.

I've never done this on a Toyota. Is there any surprises waiting for me? Is anything going to spring open or fly out and knock my teeth out?

Any tips or tricks? I looked in the archives, but my ADD is in hi gear so I figured I'd just ask.

TIA

OK, got it out. The bushing fell out as I carried the arm into the shop. Not too bad considering I had to use a bed lamp for light and a failing flashlight for pin point accuracy.

I'm not sure what order I did things to remove it, but I'll figure it out in the morning when I can actually see….. I'm pretty sure I killed the ball joint.
