urban runner radio vs. eclipse

Well I went to install my amp and sub today. (R. Fosgate 900 & alpine kappa perfect 12). Anyway I was all prepared;I ran a set of rca cables from the amp to the head unit. Which by the way I fully expected to have 3 sets of rca outputs. I researched the eclipse version which did have the rca's. Well the Toyota version does not have these--- so to anyone else outhere don't make the same mistake. Plan on speaker level inputs or something.

BTW I did get it all installed and it sounds fine; I just don't like using the speaker level inputs.

Man I wish you'd posted something about this before you pulled your radio out. I'm in the midst of trying to do some researching for the part number for the trim ring that goes around your Toy/Eclipse headunit. I've got the thread over HERE . I'm sure the trim ring would've had the number printed on the back side of it. So far dealers have come up dead ended on the parts screens since the model is so new.

Good job on being able to complete your install. Bummer that the headunit isn't exactly like the aftermarket Eclipse/Tom Tom setup with RCA's. I'm not much of a big fan of using speaker level inputs myself either. But you've got the job done and as long as you're happy with it, that's all that counts.

Hope you didn't go through the trouble of pulling the radio back out for that number, either way, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! I will try and see if that comes up with anything at the dealer.
