Urban Runner tomtom update...how?

So...

I had the same problem with the sd card. Got a new one from Toyota....so far so good. Now.....I want to update my tomtom. They say it is not compatible with tomtom home. Have you guys updated yours with the new card? I hate that I don't have the updated maps or more poi on my card. What have you guys done?

AS I HAVE SAID IN MY OTHER POSTS TO YOU, DO NOT UPDATE YOUR TOMTOM THROUGH TOMTOM HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you do you will be ordering a new card from Toyota in the not-to-distant future. If you want and need to have the most updated Tomtom application, feel free. But don't come back when it corrupts your application.

I'm just trying to help you out, but you don't seem to be listening.

I want to know if anyone else updated their card in any other way. I know and understand that tomtom home doesn't work. Relax man...I'm not asking about tomtom home. I want to see if anyone found another way.

My last call to Toyota on Monday made me realize that there is prolly not going to be any support availble to us from TomTom support. *sigh*

Yeah...the tomtom works.....is great....but needs an update. There isn't many streets, poi locations, and the sound it the host receiver puts out is lame. All in all.....for an expensive suv....this system is not up to par. I sure hope they do something about it.

Did you try contacting Eclipse, which makes the unit (and sells it as the AVN2210)? They might have an idea.

I believe someone did...and they were told that tomtom home is not compatible with toyota tomtom.....or something like that. This really sucks.
