Hmm, haven't thought about upgrading my speakers.. I think they sound pretty good... but that's just me! :bigok:

I would suggest anything by Pioneer, Alpine, etc.

It just seems when I you the radio that the speakers arent as load and I wanted a little more bass. I was thinking about just getting a self powered sub like the basslink or should I replace the speakers?

This is my only real complaint about my UR. The audio equipment sucks for a car being produced in todays day and age. My Civic that cost a lot less came with better sounding speakers. Hell, my Rubicons sound system sounded better and that thing had zero space for decent speakers. I really wish they offered an upgraded audio package like the other trims but I guess they dropped the ball on that one. All I want is clean sound that does not have to be cranked just to be able to hear it.

I don't think they dropped the ball on this. For the Price, the URunner is an awesome value.

Yes, the speakers are weak, and the rear seat passengers can't here anything because the most rear speakers are the ones that are on the rear doors cards located very low. I will upgrade at the end of the 3 years of warranty, since I could care less about the rear passengers, and my dog hears plenty from all the way back from the trunk...

The head unit is 50x4, so when I do make the mods, I will hook the rear door card speakers and the small ones in front to the head unit, and upgrade all 6 speakers and get an amp for the door speakers and add tweeters probably. I am not huge on base. I just want clear, even sound..
