URGENT PROBLEM, sunroof WILL NOT CLOSE

The sunroof is a gaping hole waiting for rain to fall into and totally screw up my vehicle. I've already looked at everything and obviously the engineers who designed the 2nd gen 4runner didn't take into consideration the fact that the damn sunroof would possibly get stuck in the open position. Why, is beyond me.

There is no manual override. There is no way to close the damn thing, is there?

My problems started when I went to change the ignition wires. I had some trouble getting the battery thingy to stay off of the negative terminal, and there were a few sparks here and there. I might have blown a fuse or something, right? Wrong.

None of the fuses are blown, nothing is wrong with the circuit breaker. I tried to reset the breaker but I don't know what clicking sound the stupid manual is talking about. In fact, the drivers manual has NO MENTION of a sunroof.

The repair guide I bought (yes, for 1989-1993 Toyota 4Runner... I CAN READ) makes absolutely NO FREAKING MENTION of a bloody sunroof.

I'm just short of extremely pissed off right now. This is absolutely ridiculous.

I can NOT afford to take this thing to a professional, at all.

In fact, I'm trying to sell it so I can buy a Honda CB7.

Please, I need urgent help. This is extremely angering.
