Use of Cargo Area Mirrors

Does anyone else besides me use these to check their blind spots when changing lanes? I haven't seen it discussed here.
As long as there is good light outside it works great.

Drivers side blind spot: Use rearview mirror + passenger side cargo area mirror

Passenger side blind spot: Use rearview mirror + driver side cargo area mirror.

I use the cargo mirrors in parking lots when backing out of spaces where visability is compromised. Just today I used these mirrors when parallel parking in the city. They helped me see the vehicle directly behind me so that I did not hit it with the hitch when backing up.

Personally, I do not use these mirrors very often when changing lanes.

I don't think that you can really check the blind spot very well, but in slow traffic you can easily tell if a particular car is overlapped or completely behind you - great when merging in stop-n-go traffic.

Of course, the best use is peeking around large vehciles when backing out of parking spaces.

I used those in the beginning. But I have three vehicles and that might have something to do with the fact that I now never look at them. I think they may be a good location for a second set of tweeters!
