Hey guys,
I have a '00 4r that I bought last August for around $15k (factor in taxes and title and all and it was damn enar $17) with aobut 52k miles. It is a 2wd sport edition and no locker.
I began lightly searching for a similar 4r just in a 4wd/elocked version. I found a '99 with 92k miles (still below the average of 15k a year) with 4wd, elocked, and physically is nearly the exact same as mine. from the many pictures it looks to be in fantastic shape. couple of tiny dents but who doesn't have those? do you all think this is a good deal? thanks!

I think the main question is how much do you need the 4WD. I wouldn't do it but I live in san francisco with no snow.

If youre asking about my past then I'd say I've needed 4wd maybe 5% of the time ive been driving. having owned nothing but 2wd so far, ive never had the courage to take it offroad for fear of getting stuck. have i always dreamed of owning a 4wd with future plans of going wheeling with people that i've met? you bet. around atlanta there is plenty of good stuff to go to and even in texas.
another factor to add is that I will be co-oping (working a semester at a time every other semester) in New York where there will be plenty of snow and such.
