Used Wrong Oil Filter...I should be okay, right?

Good Morning Guys-

I changed my wife's oil on her 09 4.0L V6 Urban Runner yesterday.

This was the first oil change at 1700 miles. I wanted to get the old oil out.

I used a Toyota OEM "YZZD1" filter, rather than a Toyota OEM "YZZD3" filter.

I had some new "YZZD1" filters, and a quick search here showed that is what the truck called for. However, I failed to notice that it was for the 2002 and below V6 engines.

I'm planning on changing the oil before it snows out, and the truck is not driven much. The 1700 miles are from when we bought it new in May '09.

My assumption is that I will be okay, seeing as the truck is not used much, until I change the oil again and use the proper "YZZD3" filter.

I just wanted to make sure you guys share that assumption with me.

That thread is actually where I found out I used the wrong filter....haha :bigok:

If I wasn't on the -20004 bandwagon I'd use the D3. It has a similar bypass pressure, a good check valve and more filter area.
