Users name issue with new forum software

The new forum version is causing issues with my user control panel. I have had this problem here in the past and it was able to be resolved.

My username "J.A." has the period character in it, that is causing the issue.

The issue is that when i click on my name to get into User CP, it takes my to the user control panel for ja330 and i cannot see any of my related items.

Please advise, thanks.

Same here, when I click my name it takes me to user "redline", who hasn't logged in since 2005.

I'm getting a log in error everytime I come to the page even with saved log in and "remember me" checked. I have to manually log in again, and then get an invalid redirect link. What a pain. Why has this site gone down hill so much recently?

Edit: Mine was because I was using an old URL saved in browser history that wasn't https, doh!
